Dr. Rich Liddell grew up in Windsor, Ontario. His dog Frisky’s veterinarian was Dr. Bill Brack and Rich constantly pestered him asking for a job. At the age of 13, he got that job as a kennel boy. Ten years later he graduated as a veterinarian and established the Ajax Animal Hospital which he and Dr. Dave Manuel ran for the next 40 years. After selling the practice in 2010, he started working a few hours a week at the Ganaraska Animal Clinic just to keep his veterinary juices flowing.
Rich in married to Lynn and they have 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Rich says: "My love of animals and people who have pets was my inspiration for choosing veterinary medicine. 55 years later that love continues to grow."
Rich and Lynn live 5 minutes away from the Clinic with their two other children, Mabel and Millie, two dogs who completely control their lives.
