WHAT TO EXPECT

Once a year, you should bring your pet in for a check-up.  This will include a full history taking and physical exam.  During the physical examination, our doctors will check the health of your pet from head to tail, ensuring a comprehensive and thorough assessment.

During the history taking, which may happen before, during or after the examination, the doctors will ask you specific questions about the health of your pet.  This can include things like nutrition, exercise, lifestyle, behavior and more in-depth system-specific questions.  If you have questions, or have other things that you think may be important, please discuss them with us.
After the physical examination and history, we will then work with you to make a comprehensive plan that is unique to your pet, and your own vision for their health care.  We take pride in offering a variety of personalized solutions when possible, so that you can feel comfortable knowing that you are listened to, and have had input on the direct care of your fur baby.

In some circumstances, our doctors will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or specific types of surgery.
